Kush Jones is a producer who hails from The Bronx, NYC and a meticulous curator of samples from all around the world.
Together with the Juke Bounce Werk crew, Kush Jones has been part of some of footwork's most critical and influential releases in the past few years.
His music has been heard and supported by some of footwork's finest, and his keen ear for unique samples and love for new and fresh sounds makes him one of the most exciting talents in the scene right now.
A well traveled musician, Kush Jones has been invited to many a stage to showcase his music, including but not limited to: Burlington, Toronto, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Austin, and so on.
A devoted student of percussive dynamics, club music, ghetto house, booty, juke and footwork, Kush Jones creates a sonic melange drawing from his learnings and influences from people he interacts with. This in turn creates a cycle of education from which he draws more inspiration to create more music, and those learnings take his sound far and wide.
Kush Jones will be in your airwaves.
Solomon Baldeo aka Neuropunk exudes the true renaissance man, tackling as many facets of the nightlife scene and art as humanly possible. DJ/Producer/Promoter/Designer/Illustrator/Writer…the list goes on for the many activities for his daily grind and he holds a deep passion for each one.
Neuropunk started his career in the Summer of 1999, spinning a variety of music, but gained notoriety for his futuristic vision for the harder, darker side of Drum n Bass. As he grew as an artist, his sound evolved towards a deeper, more minimal and headier vibe of all Bass Music. In 2011, his penchant for exploring new sounds lead him to become renowned in Los Angeles for his full-on live Juke/Footwork/Future Bass sets, as well as various mixes and podcasts. Today, you will find Neuropunk combining his past experiences and his vision for the future into sets encompassing nearly all forms of chest vibrating bass music.
From behind the turntables to behind the scenes, Neuropunk got involved with event production, first with DP Sound Crew in 1999, then with Grapevinez in early 2005. He has been one of the key scene-builders behind the LA bass scene, intimately involved in throwing Champion Sounds and History, the biggest Drum and Bass events in America. In 2010, he graduated to realizing his own vision of bass events with LA Beatdown at the Music Box, the premiere bass music event in the heart of Hollywood, steps away from the Kodak theater. Through it all, Neuropunk continued to fulfill his desire for new sounds, joining Blasted Events and Juke Bounce Werk in 2013. The following year he started the very successful weekly club event, Rocksteady, with the Juke Bounce Werk Crew in DTLA. By early 2016 Neuropunk also developed a steady schedule of his own track releases through record labels and independent releases. He now has firmly planted his foot at the forefront of the West Coast Juke/Footwork movement.
