Frankfurt is a city with a rich history and diverse culture. From its humble beginnings as a small fishing village to its current status as a major financial hub, Frankfurt has always been a place where people from all walks of life come together. This diversity is what makes Frankfurt such an interesting place to photograph.
When I’m out shooting Frankfurt street photography, I never know what I’m going to see. One minute I’ll be photographing the grandeur of the skyline, and the next I’ll be capturing the intimate moments between people on the street. That’s what I love about this city; there’s always something new and exciting to photograph.

Frankfurt Skyline
One of the first things you’ll notice when you arrive in Frankfurt is the skyline. The city is home to some of the tallest buildings in Europe, and the skyline is truly a sight to behold. If you want to get a good photo of the skyline, I recommend heading to the top of the Main Tower for a bird’s eye view.
People Watching
Frankfurt is a bustling city with a lot of character, and that character comes out in its people. When you’re walking around the city, take some time to people watch and you’ll be sure to capture some interesting shots. The best place for people watching in my opinion is at Hauptwache, which is one of the busiest squares in Frankfurt.
Intimate Moments
In addition to its big-city feel, Frankfurt also has a lot of charm. One of my favorite things to photograph are the intimate moments between couples and friends. These moments can be found all around the city, but my favorite place to find them is at Kleinmarkthalle—a covered market with stalls selling everything from fresh produce to flowers.
