The latest EP opens up with the track Sesame. It kicks us off with a soulful upbeat rhythm and horn section that gets your toes tapping instantly. It then drops into some freshly chopped vocals and dancefloor bass pressure in Dun Dun Dun, bringing the focus toward a footwork style heading straight for the circle.
Buss A Move and Way She Move were clearly made for the club - thick with r&b vocals and rhythmic subs. The strings and vocals of Going Thru add a nice change of pace. This one is for getting your girl on the floor whilst keepin’ those feet popping.
The penultimate track of the whole EP would have to be Good Time which goes back to the vocal chops and the bouncing sub bass, once again crafted for the circle. The EP closes with a collaborative track with fellow Juke Bounce Werk squad member, Swisha, on Curry Ramen another upbeat track for straight up Jukin’.
Overall, Kush Jones brings us new styles and fresh heat to close out the summer. Listen, share and show your support for an artist who stops at nothing to express true creativity and a unique sound in today’s footwork scene.
