Netflix’s inside-the-tour documentary series “Break Point” premieres today and explores the tumultuous world of professional tennis in recent years, with Serena Williams, Roger Federer and Ashleigh Barty all retiring from the sport.

Roger Federer, one of the most accomplished players in tennis history,breaking news tennis has been spotted on social media in an unusual role. The Swiss maestro recently took part in a three-dimensional art exhibition, called ‘Cloud Six’.

For the exhibit, he had to be suspended in a full-body mould – without any clothing on – for hours at a time. He even had his face covered in silicone.

A documentary about the experience shows him surviving this ordeal.

The tennis star has reportedly been in advanced talks to join the BBC’s commentary team at Wimbledon this year.

As well as this, he is also one of the most popular athletes on Facebook, boasting an impressive 18 million followers. He is followed by Rafael Nadal on 14.7 million.

On his social media accounts, he has plenty of lighthearted content to keep his fanbase entertained. His likable personality and role model lifestyle helps boost his social media presence. He is the third most popular tennis player on Instagram with 9.7 million followers and has a massive 12.7 million Twitter followers.

Nick Kyrgios

Kyrgios has broken through to the top of world tennis in recent years. The Australian has reached Grand Slam singles finals at Wimbledon and Washington, and he’s been in the quarterfinals at both the US Open and French Open.

But his story wasn’t always so smooth. He was born in Australia to a Greek father and a Malaysian mother. He grew up with two older siblings and spent a lot of time in his backyard, playing basketball.

When he was 14 he switched to tennis full time, and the game became his main focus. He also started traveling for tournaments.

But Kyrgios has always had a tough time with his mental health. He had suicidal thoughts, and he had to be treated for depression. Thankfully, his mental health has improved in the past few years.

Rafael Nadal

Rafael Nadal is a Spanish tennis player whose incredible haul of Grand Slam titles marks him out as one of the greatest to ever play the game. Despite a career full of injuries, Nadal has always found a way to overcome them and win majors.

He entered the French Open last year despite suffering a foot injury and went on to win the tournament, adding a fifth Major of his career. He then competed at Wimbledon and reached the semifinals before withdrawing due to an abdominal injury.

Earlier this year, Nadal was knocked out of the Australian Open in the second round by Mackenzie McDonald. He has since suffered a hip injury and is likely to miss the Indian Wells Masters and Miami Masters.

On Monday, a night after Novak Djokovic defeated Nick Kyrgios from a set down to script a sensational comeback and win his fourth straight Wimbledon title, Nadal took to social media to praise the Serb for the victory.

Simona Halep

Simona Halep is a Romanian tennis player who currently holds the world number two spot. She is a two-time Grand Slam champion, having won the French Open and Wimbledon. She has also won 24 WTA singles titles.

She has been ranked in the top 10 for the past two years. She is also a former world number one.

She has had a mixed season this year, having suffered mental exhaustion and undergoing nose surgery. However, she bounced back with a solid grass court season and US Hardcourt swing to get back into the top ten.
