Nofollow Backlinks
Nofollow backlinks are ignored by search engine crawlers. Whenever you link to a website that is not of high value, use the rel=”nofollow” attribute in your webpage’s HTML.
How to check if a link is dofollow or nofollow?
Google Chrome users
1. To check if a link is dofollow or nofollow, left-click and scroll over the link.
2. Then right-click the link and click Inspect Item.
3. After clicking inspect item, a javascript console will appear at the bottom of the page to help you determine if a link is dofollow or nofollow.
Mozilla Firefox Users
1. To check if a link is dofollow or nofollow, left-click and scroll over the link.
2. Then right-click the link and click Inspect Item. 3. After clicking Inspect Item, a pop-up window will appear at the bottom of the page. 4. There click on html. 4. There you will be Do Follow Backlinks told that the link is dofollow or nofollow.
How to deal with these dofollow and nofollow links
In Blogger, all outgoing links are dofollow by default. This means that you give away the link juice to other blogs. It is better to give nofollow to the outgoing links in a blog. Dofollow only outbound links that are relevant to the content.
It is equally important to “dofollow” outbound links that are relevant. You don’t have to give your blog’s internal pages a “nofollow” attribute.
