Hajj is the mandatory obligation every Muslim female and male must perform once in a lifetime. You have to become physically and financially stable to perform this sacred obligation. Has Allah not rendered the ‘Isha’ prayer in congregation equal to Hajj and the Fajr prayer in congregation equal to ‘Umrah?”

You read these holy hadiths. You can imagine that you can perform Hajj by performing the congregational prayer of Isha. Allah has blessed us with the deeds of Hajj, equivalent to offering congregational prayers.

Zikr of Allah After Prayers

You can bless with millions of rewards by Zikr of Allah Almighty. After every prayer, you can Zikr of Subhan Allah, Alhamdulillah, and Allah-u-Akbar 33 times. Hazrat Abu Hurayrah said that a group of people came to Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.) and said that:

”O Allah’s Messenger, affluent people will have higher ranks and perennial enjoyment in high levels in paradise. They pray like us and do fast as we do, but they perform the Hajj, Cheap Umrah, partake in Jihad, and give in charity”.

After this, Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.) replied to themselves

“Shall I not tell you something upon which, if you acted, you would catch up with those who have to outperform you? Nobody would exceed you, and you would be better than those you live with except those who would do the same.

“He who recites Subhan Allah 100 times in the morning and evening times is like one who performed Hajj 100 times.”

You Can Earn Rewards by Performing Umrah In Ramadan

Ramadan is the holiest month in the Islamic calendar. During this month, Muslims fasts to achieve golden rewards and become closer to Allah Almighty. You can perform Umrah in Ramadan, which is equivalent to performing Hajj.

Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) said that:

“When the month of Ramadan came going to perform Umrah as Umrah in Ramadan is like accompanying Hajj on me.”

You Can Receive Golden Rewards by Performing Eid Prayers

“Going out to pray Eid al-Fitr is equal to performing Umrah, and going out to pray Eid-al-Adha is equal to performing Hajj.”

Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.) said to Companions to be good to his mother. If you do so, he said: “You are like a Hajj pilgrim, a person performing `Umrah and someone striving for the sake of Allah (mujahid).”

Offering Prayer of Fajr With Congregation

Our holy Prophet said that:

“He who offers Fajr prayer with the congregation and remains seated in the same place while alluring in Zikr until after sunrise and then offers two rakah nawafils (Ishraq), he will obtain the reward of one Hajj and one Umrah.”

Teaching and Learning by Going to Masjid

Abu Umamah Al-Bahili (R.A.) narrated that Prophet PBUH said:

 “Whoever goes to the mosque, wanting nothing to expect to teach what is good or to learn, will have the reward of completed Hajj.”

The Bottom Line

If you can’t afford Hajj, you can perform other good deeds to achieve golden rewards. These rewards are equivalent to performing Hajj. So, if you do these deeds, you will become closer to Allah.
