Things to carry

Sleeping bag.

Walking shoes.

Hiking stick (optional).

Water bottle (optional).

If you are planning to hike the Valley of Flowers trek in winter, make sure that your sleeping bag is rated for temperatures down to -5°C and has a good waterproofing treatment on it. You may also want to consider bringing along a pair of warm clothes such as gloves and a hat if possible, as well as an umbrella if it rains during your trip!

If you are planning a trek in Nepal, it is very important that you obtain the proper visa. The process of getting a Nepalese visa can be quite complicated and time-consuming, so it’s best to start the process early.

The first step in obtaining a Nepalese tourist visa is submitting an application through your nearest embassy or consulate. Once approved, your passport will be stamped with an entry stamp that allows you entry into Nepal without having to apply again upon departure (or renewal). While this may seem like an inconvenience at first glance—after all, most people don’t have passports with multiple pages dedicated solely for visas—it’s actually quite helpful since this means there won’t be any need for additional paperwork on departure day; instead, once they receive their passports back from customs officers after arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), travellers only need show them their entry stamps from previous visits before going through immigration again!

The accommodation available in the Valley of Flowers is limited. You can stay at Govindghat and Ghangaria, but there is no lodging available at Kedarnath. It’s possible that you’ll have to stay in hotels or lodges in these towns (or even outside of them), but this shouldn’t be a problem if you’re traveling with someone else who has booked accommodation ahead of time.

Food and water

Food and water are important. You’ll need to carry your own food and water, so be sure to eat regularly and drink enough.

Do not eat or drink anything that looks, smells or tastes suspicious. There are many poisonous plants in Nepal, so if you’re unsure of what it is, don’t eat it!

If you do accidentally swallow something poisonous (like wild mushrooms), call a doctor as soon as possible.

Gauri Kund to Govindghat

After you cross the Gauri Kund, you will reach Govindghat. This is a small lake and you can see peacocks here. It is also called as Gaurikund. The last stop before Valley of Flowers Trek and Ghangaria Trek is Govindghat.

Gangaria village lies in the middle of the mountains, it has beautiful views from here too but we don’t have time to see them right now because we need to keep moving forward towards Ghangaria village where there are many waterfalls nearby!

Govindghat to Ghangaria (10 kilometres)

The trek from Govindghat to Ghangaria is a short and easy one. The trail is wide and easy to follow, so it’s a good option for those who want to explore the valley of flowers but are not very fit.

It should take around 4-5 hours in total, including breaks at lunch time or dinner time depending on how fast you move along the way. If you’re not used to hiking then this might feel like an eternity!

Ghangaria to Valley of Flowers (4 kilometres)

This trek is a great way to get some exercise and enjoy the beauty of nature. The route is easy to follow, and it doesn’t require any strenuous hiking. It’s also not very long—about 4 kilometers (2 miles).

The trail is well marked by blue signs that show where you should turn off for Ghangaria village or Valley of Flowers village. And if you’re lost somewhere along the way, don’t worry! There are plenty of people nearby who can help point out directions if needed.

Return trip from Valley of Flowers to Ghangaria (4 kilometres)

If you’re looking for a shorter and easier trek, the return trip from Ghangaria to the Valley of Flowers is your best option. This route takes about 4 kilometers, which means that it’s downhill all the way. The path is well-maintained and makes use of steps cut into the side of mountains that can be reached by foot or horseback (for those who prefer riding). It’s also possible to take an oxcart along if you wish; however, there are no roads along this part of the route so care must be taken not to get lost!

Like the article says, “Valley of Flowers is a paradise on earth. When you are in the valley of flowers you will feel forgotten from all that is around you and only beauty in front of your eyes.”

You can see lotus flowers in every season, they are so beautiful! The valley also has many other animals like deer, monkeys and birds which makes it more interesting than other trekking destinations.

“The Valley of Flowers Trek is a wonderful experience for anyone who wants to see nature in its purest form. The region has a lot of history and traditions that you can explore during your visit. So, if you are looking for an adventure with great memories then this trek is perfect for you.”
